A selection of my personal photographic projects over the years.

My style has naturally shifted with time — in both subject matter and technique — but one thing has stayed the same: I’m drawn to moments, people, and places that feel singular.

Nostalgia has always been a quiet undercurrent in my life. Photography has become a small, personal way of leaning into that feeling. It lets me linger a bit longer; helps me make peace with time.

MONGOLIAN COWBOYS
Personal Project

On my road trip across Mongolia, I stumbled upon a small group of young cowboys. The moment they spotted my camera, their shy personalities flipped into pure bravado. They started showing off tricks on their horses, laughing among themselves. We all ended up having the time of our lives.

What struck me most was how quickly the distance between us dissolved. I didn’t speak their language, and they didn’t speak mine, yet the camera became our common ground, an invitation, a game, a way of saying I see you. Their energy was wild and innocent at the same time, like a spontaneous performance no one had choreographed but everyone understood.

As the sun dipped behind the hills, the boys eventually rode off in a cloud of dust, still teasing and laughing among themselves. I stood there a moment longer, grateful for the encounter. Encounters like this don’t happen every day, and they don’t need big conclusions... Just a small reminder of how unpredictable and generous the road can be.
